One of the toughest turkeys for most Grand Slammers to take is the Osceola turkey, mainly due to its very limited home range in Florida and the difficulty of finding access to hunt him on private lands. However, we do work with another Mossy Oak ProStaffer in Florida, who’s been guiding turkey hunters for about 10 years. He has a very good population of Osceola birds where he hunts and can hunt either the early or the late season. You can take one Osceola with the option to take the second bird. Another advantage to this hunt is if you take your gobbler early, you also can sign up for an alligator hunt or a wild hog hunt. This place offers lodging, food and plenty of Osceola turkeys.
Just for Hunting can help turkey hunters who are interested in a Grand Slam or any one of the species of wild turkeys. We have places we’ve hunted and guided on, we know the food and the accommodations you’ll enjoy, and you should be able to get all five species of turkeys in one year. Or, you may want to consider hunting a different kind of turkey each year until you’ve bagged one each of the five. Just for Hunting customizes turkey hunts for turkey hunters to help them find and take the gobblers they want to find and take. We’re seeing more and more traveling turkey hunters who are expanding their reaches, going to other states and hunting different types of gobblers they don’t have in their home states.
I hardly can wait for turkey season to begin. I enjoy traveling all over the country, hunting different birds with various folks on different types of terrain.
