Mark and Terry Drury started the now iconic Drury Outdoors in 1989 by making VHS videos of their hunts in order to offer insights on their outdoor successes and failures to other hunters. In the almost 35 years of their brand, they’ve offered learnings and efficiencies into the sport of hunting like no one else and have instilled a love and passion for the outdoors in many men and women across the country.
Through their travels and learnings, the Drury’s have kept conservation at the forefront of their ideals and mission. Their home state of Missouri has recognized the work and effort they’ve put in to improve their local dirt and to extend the message of conservation.
The Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation recently awarded Mark and Terry with the Corps of Discovery National Conservation Award, an esteemed award based on exemplary service and a commitment to benefit conservation.

We are proud to honor those committed to advancing and conserving our great natural heritage.”

Mark and Terry Drury were also recently recognized by the Missouri House of Representatives with a state resolution honoring their commitment and contribution to conservation.
In his acceptance speech, Terry Drury says, “When we started in 1989, we never would have dreamed we would receive any accolades; we were just passionate about hunting and wanted to share it. Our goal has always been about giving back [and] helping the hunter.”
He continues, “There are many who have been with us since day one. Mossy Oak has been a part of Drury Outdoors since the beginning, and Toxey is a brother as far as I’m concerned.”
Mark Drury says, “We are going to accept this award on behalf of the many sporting enthusiasts across this beautiful country that call the woods and waters their happy place, much like we do. Without their passion and love of the outdoors, Drury Outdoors simply doesn’t exist.”
From simple VHS tapes to a well-respected and iconic brand, including many new offerings like Deercast, Drury Outdoors has time and time again proven its place in the outdoor industry.
