Mossy Oak is pleased to announce that J Scott Judy is their 2018 ProStaffer of the Year. Mossy Oak is proud to have one of the largest ProStaffs in the outdoors industry, and its winner is chosen from nearly 1000 ProStaff members.
Each year, Mossy Oak’s Regional ProStaff managers nominate one member of their expansive teams. The ProStaffer of the Year award is presented to the individual that has been nominated as one of 25 finalists across the country and has been selected by a series of judges as the winner. Each of the 25 finalists receive a prize package of their own from Mossy Oak. However, the winner is awarded the opportunity to attend a filmed hunt, along with their respective ProStaff Manager and various members of the Mossy Oak crew.
“In a very close decision, J Scott stood out to the selection committee with his selfless attitude in supporting Mossy Oak’s core message and heritage,” said Tim Anderson, Mossy Oak’s Director of Public Relations and ProStaff Manager. “J Scott is not only very active in the outdoors but he is also driven in his support of our youth and our veterans by donating his time and his own money in their endeavors, giving back to his community in many ways.”
“I have been J Scott’s manager for only a couple years, but in that time, he has always been one of those guys that I never had to worry about,” said Kevin Hutchings, Regional ProStaff Manager, Kentucky Whitetail. “He’s very deserving of this recognition and he sets an outstanding example for others.”
Last year's winner, James MacDonald, recently enjoyed a successful waterfowl and predator hunt in Oklahoma as part of his reward for being the 2017 ProStaffer of the year.
