Mossy Oak is pleased to announce that James MacDonald of Cornelius, Oregon, is their 2017 ProStaffer of the Year. Mossy Oak is proud to have one of the largest ProStaffs in the outdoors industry, and its winner is chosen from nearly 1000 ProStaff members.
Each year, Mossy Oak’s Regional ProStaff managers nominate one member of their expansive teams. The ProStaffer of the Year award is presented to the individual that has been nominated as one of 25 finalists across the country and has been selected by a series of judges as the winner. Each of the 25 finalists receive a prize package of their own from Mossy Oak. However, the winner is awarded the opportunity to attend a filmed hunt, along with their respective ProStaff Manager and various members of the Mossy Oak crew.
“We are super proud and honored to award such a hard-working and selfless person that goes above and beyond to share his and our passion for the outdoors with such a large amount of people,” said Tim Anderson, Mossy Oak’s Director of Public Relations and ProStaff Manager. “James is the epitome of what we stand for here at Mossy Oak. In addition to being a full-time teacher, coach, husband and father, he takes it upon himself to utilize his servant’s heart by helping people on their journey to either become a hunter or become a better hunter.”
MacDonald has been on Mossy Oak’s ProStaff for five years. He and his wife live in Cornelius, Oregon, with their two daughters. He is a high school teacher and helps coach the local high school baseball team as well as his daughter's softball teams.
