Fox Haas
Head Gamekeeper
He's known to his grandchildren as Papaw and to us as Mr. Fox. Regardless of what name is used, all know him as one of the last true Southern gentlemen. Fox was raised in Mobile, Alabama. Although all of the men in his family attended the University of Alabama, he decided to spend his college years at Mississippi State University. He didn't know it at the time, but this would prove to be the wisest decision that he ever made. He met his wife, Miss MSU and Homecoming Queen, Evelyn, and together they moved to West Point. Before joining his son at Mossy Oak, Fox was a longtime employee of Bryan Foods, where he rose to the Senior Vice President level. Toxey also worked at Bryan between graduation and the beginning of Mossy Oak. I guess Toxey was returning the favor of his first job when he hired his father to work by his side. Although Fox is retired, he and Evelyn still live in West Point and keep an eye on Toxey and the rest of their family. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
